WOODSTOCK ARCHERY CLUB Home

WELCOME
Archery is an evovling sport that has grown by leaps and bounds in the past few years. The Woodstock Archery Club has grown along with the sport, with the few members in 2001 and growing steadily each year.

The Woodstock Archery Club was founded in 2000 by a handful of dedicated archers who loved the sport and were willing to make the sacrifices needed to get their new organization up and running in 2001. That spirit has carried through from the past to the present and with the help of our ever-growing membership it will carry on into the future.
In late 2005 we joined up with the Department of Wellness, Culture and Sport and set off on an adventure that was an experience that we will never regret. We saw an explosion of youth interest in archery with the Canbow and the Go-NB program. With the grants received the club was able to purchase 10 new bows and sights for the children that did not have equipment to start out with.
With the growing number of children taking to the sport we hosted a coach’s clinic in the fall of 2006, which 8 people signed up for taking our Coaching staff to nine.
Benefits of being a Member
As a member you become part of a rich history filled with tradition, champions, sportsman and good friends! We are an organization committed to helping the beginner, instructing our children; sharing our hunting skills and knowledge; as well as striving to help those less fortunate than ourselves.
Department of Wellness, Culture and Sport and Woodstock Archery Club provides funding and training to the children following Canbow guidlines.
For the members we have 3D shoots every month, indoor in the winter and outdoor in the summer. We are proudly associated with A.A.N.B. and F.C.A.
Every Tuesday night shooters will gather for a friendly round of targets, practicing for the hunt or the upcoming league night.

NOTE: For archers who are planning to apply for funding to go to the Nationals, it is your responsibility to keep your signed score cards and submit your application within the required deadline date.
